Will sand volleyball help my 5th grader for indoor volleyball tryouts?
Yes. The Starter Club will give your 5th grader the skills they need to tryout for their indoor club team or school team. In fact, sand volleyball will give your 5th grader more touches because typically outdoor volleyball is 2-on-2 so they will learn how serving, passing, setting, attacking, and defensive strategies.
What does my 5th grader need for the first day?
Players only need to dress in athletic attire, shoes and knee pads are not needed. There are no additional costs for uniforms. A towel and water bottle is recommended but other than that nothing else is needed. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms onsite so please be prepared.
What if my 5th grader has never played volleyball?
The Starter Club is perfect for beginners. Coaches are understanding and trained to help beginners.
How much does it cost?
$80/player per course, which includes 8 sessions. There are no additional costs unless you need a volleyball or sand socks, which are not required. EVP Volleyballs are $30 and Vincere Sand Socks are $20 (available on-site).
When are courses offered?
Sessions are 1.5 hours typically 6:30P-8:00P on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Azul at Spectrum at 3134 South Market Street in Gilbert Arizona 85295. This is a luxury apartment community with 2 outdoor sand volleyball courts.
Do you play all-year-round?
Yes. The Starter Club typically start another course the following week and completing 10 courses a year. There are Winter Volleyball Courses, Spring Volleyball Courses, Summer Volleyball Courses, and Fall Volleyball Courses.
What is the Varsity EVP?
Once a player becomes a Varsity EVP member, they receive a player photo that they may share on Facebook or Instagram. All league and tournament results are recorded for points and players begin their athlete resume. Varsity EVP attracted players from Tucson, Flagstaff, California and Washington in its first year. Varsity EVP presents the opportunity for players to compete at a higher level.
