The Sand Club was originally established as a league for adults but in 2008 developed junior division called The Starter Club, offering exclusively sand volleyball camps and classes for beginner to competitive girls and boys ages 9-18.  In 2012, Allen Alexander, owner of The Sand Club, became the West Conference Director of the EVP Tour, the largest professional & amateur beach volleyball tour in America traveling to over 13 cities.  In 2013, The Sand Club develops a universal points system that includes Arizona Region of USA Volleyball, see newsletter.  In the Summer of 2013, The Sand Club hosted 4 sand volleyball tournaments in Mesa Arizona that attracted youth volleyball players from Flagstaff, Tucson and over 6 different cities in the Phoenix Valley.

Adult leagues are offered in Gilbert, Chandler and Mesa as well as a youth league in Gilbert Arizona (Pecos/South 202) on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6:30P-8P for 8 total sessions teaching 30-minutes of sand volleyball lessons and then 60-minutes of round-robin league play.  The Starter Club also covers "5 Tips For Tryouts-Without Even Touching The Ball" and cover the "Coach's Clipboard" on the fundamentals as well as common mistakes.

The Sand Club has also partnered with a professional volleyball player, Ryan Mariano for videos, clinics, and pro-am tournaments, see videos.
