The Sand Club is hosting four Summer Series tournaments in Mesa with a new 2-on-2 challenge format. Players sign up with a set partner for the Challenge Games. When there are four or less teams (minimum of 2) registered for the challenge games, each team plays each other 1-3 games. When there are five or more teams (maximum of 8), a single-elimination tournament will be implemented with consolation games so each team receives 3 games. Seeding will based on Varsity EVP and Arizona Region points.
The goal of the Summer Challenge is to attract the top teams from each beach club and reward the team with the best record of each age division (18U/16U, 14U, and 12U) a FREE entry into the EVP Western Conference Championship on September 21, 2014 in Huntington Beach California. It's time to represent.
